Saw this noir movie last night. Loved it. The wife and
daughter generally turn the noses up at old black and white,
but the liked Killers. I mentioned the style of playing light
against shadow at the beginning and they picked up on it and
pointed out a dozen scenes that used it.
I loved the great irony of the ending. The femme fatale was
doing the double doublecross. Ava Gardner was sure looking
fine. Guess I shouldn't short Burt, either. He was cute
too.
