I'm currently reading David Markson's Epitaph novels and enjoying them. A lot of the exchanges between Fannin and the characters from the Village remind me of the Peter Gunn episodes from the same time period. Especially those episodes when Gunn is talking to his beatnik informant, Wilbur. Or like Lew Archer in Greenwich Village instead of L. A.

These are it for the Fanin novels?
