Hey,

Does anybody read the new crop of neo-(or whatever)-noir writers? I'm going to be done with my Hitchcock retrospective soon (thank god) and then I'll be working on a piece about Cornell Woolrich and the origins of roman or series noir. I'd like to do a companion piece on direct and current descendants. I'm reading Megan Abbott at the moment and Vicki Hendricks is after her. Does anyone consider Ken Bruen noir? Anybody got any other suggestions?
