Hi, Miker. Actually, Jack is in the middle of No Country for Old Men, but I read it when it came out. I don't recall a lot of particulars, but I remember being carried along in a feeling of starkness and brutality and having very little feeling for the character. However, I don't require that. I'm fine with bleakness and detachment. The writing is fantastic. Hemingwayesque. Vicki
