Do you not remember Pia Zadora? Knowing she was in the movie
actually kept me (I admit, unjustly) from reading the book
after reading four of the six Cains reprinted by Vintage (I
think) -- Postman, Indemnity, Serenade and Mildred Pierce,
picked up, but haven't read Love's Lonely Counterfeit.
