RARA-AVIS: Best Endings

Without giving the endings away, it's hard to beat Savage Night, The Getaway and Hell of a Woman, all by Jim Thompson. Double Indemnity, I, The Jury, and Name of the Game is Death and Maltese Falcon all have great endings--as well as being great books. I agree with Vicki also, Twisted City has a truly inspired ending.
