I read a short book by Eagleton and thoguht it was pretty good. Haven't read Rorty. Read part of a Lacan book, on repitition.

Frankly, the first book I read where I really got postmodernism was Greil Marcus's Lipstick Traces. Perhaps that clicked with me because it used punk, particularly the last Sex Pistols concert, as its entry point.
