Yeah, but from the way he described TSAM, I got the impression that Hunt had mentioned that collection as well as THE HARD-BOILED OMNIBUS entry in the letter Chandler was responding to.

Interesting to consider that Hunt was, at one time, arguably the most famous mystery writer in the world, and yet the fame had nothing to do with his novels.
