Unfortch, I read Six Easy Pieces before I got to CS on the basis of Patrick Anderson's glowing review in the Wash Post a few years back. Both are terrific, but I wish I'd read them in order. I see there's a new one out from Huston and I'm looking forward to reading it.

In the meantime, I have McCarthy's THE ROAD and the latest from Connelly on my bookshelf and they're not going to read themselves. I guess I should flip a coin to see which one to tackle first.
