A while ago I asked opinions on Steve Brewer, and got them,
too. Thanks for them.
I read Bank Job a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed it. The
characters and situations and dialogue were at first quite
similar to an Elmore Leonard book, but in the end the
violence was minimal, a bit like Westlake in a Dortmunder
story. An interesting mixture. I think I could try another
one-shot by Brewer; I'm not that big on private eyes.
