Just finished this one by Martin Cruz Smith. Arkady is always
on an investigation that the authorities don't want solved,
he always finds some alienated girl to sleep with, always
refuses unnecessary violence, and always fights hard when he
has to, in a situation where he is always outgunned. The
themes and the plots keep repeating themselves, but I can't
stop enjoying them.
