I'll look for Herr's Dispatches. Sounds interesting. You're dead on about Kent Anderson. His NIGHT DOGS was a great read. The main character, a cop, was coming to grips with his war experiences. I haven't read KA's SYMPATHY yet (I wonder if he's spoofing the Stones?). Thanks for the suggestion, Mark.
