Thanks for the correction, John. I've always been chronologically challenged. Kudos to Maxim for getting in there first. My point remains, I doubt the reason for reprinting Goodis and Thompson was down to popular demand.

  Sorry to nitpick but it was actually Maxim Jakubowski with his wonderful
  Black Box series of omnibus editions for Zomba Books who brought
  Thompson and Goodis back into print in the English language, a year or
  two before Black Lizard got going.
