I confess I never noticed Chaze before now but his bio is
fascinating. Looking it over I noticed that his time as a
student at Washington and Lee in Lexington, Virginia
overlapped with Richard Sale, who turned out several good
novels including one (I believe it was LAZARUS NO. 7) that
Chandler singled out for praise. Given it was not a large
college at that time, they probably knew each other. Such
things intrigue me for some reason.
I will definitely check Chaze out.
