Mer穬 M Borgers; the only problem with your review of what
sounds like an amusing piece of fiction is, bluntly, that I
wouldn't trust a word those 'memoirs' say.
I will probably be put off by gratuitous sadism, since I
prefer my sadism to be character-driven and relevant to the
plot, but the two novels do look like a giggle - or even a
hoot. If I weren't doing my
<inaudible cursing> income tax return right now, I
would be further into them by now.
