This came as a surprise. Yahoo has changed the default e-mail
settings and now everyone gets an "improved" version of the
messages. There's more on it here:

If you want to change back, you'll have to sign in to Yahoo
Groups and tick a checkbox to say you want to move from
"Fully Featured" back to
"Traditional." There are instructions here:

After you've signed in and you go to the RARA-AVIS home page
at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rara-avis-l/
you'll see an "Edit Membership" link near the top, above the
green bar. Follow that link, and near the bottom of the
preferences page there's a Message Preference section. Click
the box beside "Traditional" and you'll go back to the way
things were.
If you like the new format, don't do anything. If you don't,
I'm sorry about the work, but I can't change your settings
for you. Let me know if you run into trouble, though, and
