There's an article in today's New York Times on the history and culture of
"lucha libre," or masked Mexican wrestling. It's inspired by the new Jack Black comedy Nacho Libre.

The article refers to a "lucha noir" novel called Hoodtown, by Christa Faust. It's set in a ghetto populated by masked wrestlers. When neighborhood prostitutes are not only turning up dead but unmasked, it's up to X, a middle-aged woman with a long history in the ring, to investigate.

Just wondering: has anyone on the list read this? It sounds wild.
