After a frustrating week and a half where I had to set it
aside to finish the semeser's grading (hope I didn't take it
out on their papers), I finished Bust last night. I was quite
surprised by a number of the twists in the last third. Let's
just say that the cast at the end was not all the same as
what I would have guessed midway through the book, hell, it
wasn't the same as what I would have guessed just a chapter
or two from the end.
Unpredictable, but still very believable, book. Lots of
action, lots of
(often very dark) humor. I was also very surprised at how
seamless the writing was. Bruen and Jason really did meet in
the middle. Highly recommended.
Very slight possible hint at a spoiler.
Jason, didn't you recently mention there will be a sequel?
Out of curiosity, will it be set in Bruen's territory? Will
it follow the person "going home" at the end?
