RARA-AVIS: "Wade Miller" and the Collaborative Process

From: Mark Francis ( mingus2225@yahoo.com)

Been working my way through the Wade Miller catalog - I have
read most of the Max Thursday novels, the recent Hard Case
reprint, and a few PBO gems like "The Big Guy" and, currently,
  "Devil on Two Sticks."

I have been more than impressed with the quality of writing
in most of these, and very intrigued by the process involved
when 2 people continually collaborate on a series of novels.
Was one primarily a plotter while the other did the "writing?"
Did they take turns on chapters? Was one a dialogue specialist,
  the other a "character man?"

If anyone can point me towards a comprehensive overview
of these two writers and their process, or, better yet, has the
information themselves and would like to take the time to share
some of this knowledge on-list, I would be extremely grateful.

  Thanks,

  Mark Francis
