Turns out that is indeed the case. I pulled out my copy of Fresh Blood and read Raymond's executor, John Williams's intro to the first chapter of Nightmare in the Street. Seems the original English manuscript was lost and the finished book was cobbled together from two partial mauscripts. Since we've got John here, I was wondering if you could confirm my impression (or has a full copy come to light in the intervening decade?) and tell us how that worked. For instance, did new material have to be inserted to graft the parts together?

Oh, also, is Nightmare scheduled for US release or should I just order a UK copy when it comes out?
