Paul Torday was clearly following your advice, Charlie. 250K advance for a debut novel (+ another) entitled SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN.

And I bet Robert Crais (to drift back on topic) wishes he'd thought to call LA REQUIEM by the much more effective piscatory title, PIKE.
