Good question!
I have probably not drawn on the atmosphere of noir as much
as I've tried to stay true to what I believe are it's
conventions.
I have a PI (who, of cours, has personal issues), and he is a
violent loner. I've certainly tried to bring the PI into the
21st century while maitaining some of the stylistic features
that were initiated by Hammet and Chandler and others.
Who is your favorite "noirish" writer?
