Speaking of Southern Gothic, today's Washington Post Weekend section contained a review of the new DVD release of Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus. It included this mention:

"Perhaps the most memorable performance piece is that of author Harry Crews, trudging along a dirt road and telling dark, haunting and sometimes amusing tales."
