Re: RARA-AVIS: Re: The popularity of the Private Investigator

I seldom mention books I had a hand in, but all this discussion about "real" private investigators and what they do has moved me to mention WHERE THE HELL IS ADDIS ABABA? It's a collection of the reminiscences of Clyde Wilson, a legendary Houston p.i. Definitely a dinosaur. He did divorce work (he was Ivana Trump's investigator when she divorced Donald), he caught a serial killer, and he did a lot of other stuff. The book was published last year by a small press in Texas and is probably not easy to find.
