If my memory serves me right, there was quite an amount of
discussion about W.R. Burnett on this list, but it was in the
earlier years of R-A, and most of it triggered by somebody
writing an essay and bio about him (I think the person was a
she). The best you have to do is to use the "search"
facilities on the R-A archives, found at R-A Web site and
scan through the years.
