I just checked the cover on my copy of Room To Swing and
there is no question that the PI is black. I have the Pyramid
third printing from 1971 and Toussaint Moore in his shades is
ready to the "plush sin-pads on Manhattan's Upper East Side"
in his rose pants, red vest and psychedelic shirt with a
large collar. All that's missing is a wide white belt. And I
just noticed that Moore is holding a pipe.
