Hello! Thank You for the answer! Yes, in 1961 in two
publishing houses "Panter" and "Avon" Chase was published the
revised version of "No Orchids..." But plot and the heroes
was same. It is known, that Chase has written 89 novels. I
read them all. Their list is on my small site http://rraymond.narod.ru/chase-bib1.htm
These 89 "canonical" novels have no anything common with 4
"mystery" novels
(indicated by me). In some reference books (for example Allen
J. Hubin) 3 novels of Chase -
"The Pickup", "Ruthless", "Never Trust A Woman" (canadian
editions) undertake under doubts. I read translations in
Russian all 4 "strange" novels of Chase. Completely other
plots and characters (but in episodes of one novel presents
agent Mark Girland). The books is slightly similar to the
early pre-war novels of Chase. There can be someone saw the
originals of these books in english and who knows the real
writer (or writers) of these products?
But there were some novels of other writers published under
the name of Chase. For example " He Lived Only For Revenge "
by Chase = Nick Quarry " The Vendetta " (1973). List of
"piracy issuings" (known for me) is at the end of my
bibliography 2. http://rraymond.narod.ru/Chase-bib2.htm
