John Lau Could be true, but he probably invented the plot. Real life plots generally don't work, in my opinion. I was just remembering where I got the idea that people would rather fiction comes from the writer's life. For Miami Purity I had a pre-interview for an interview on NPR, and when the woman asked me if I'd ever been a stripper, I said no. Immediately, I could tell that the interview was over and she was just trying not to be too abrupt. My publicist told me I should have lied, but I could have never pulled that off, and the college where I teach might not have liked it. I need the day job. Vicki
