I like a lot of those from the early '70s, like Sadie when
She Died. And I like what McBain tried in Hail, Hail, the
Gang's all Here. He wasn't afraid to experiment a little,
either, with Hail to the Chief, which is a favorite of mine
even if political allegory is tough to graft onto a police
procedural.
