Even more interesting since RED HARVEST is more a set of
novellas.
RED HARVEST is one of the most disappointing books I've ever
read--especially since it gets so many accolades.
In my opinion, MALTESE FALCON is almost the perfect
Hard-boiled PI novel. The lack of perfections comes in that
Spade knew who killed his partner almost immediately, yet
holds that from the reader until the end.
