Okay, when I wrote my last post encouraging Jim Beaver to
stay with this group despite the uncivility of this
definition war, I said I skipped the recent postings. And I
have for the most part (although I noticed that Jim Beaver's
post was prompted by one of your's) until I read the one
below.
Sigh. In years past when you would wade into the definition
debate with a billy-club, you would dress comments like the
one below as if they were tongue-in-cheek. Please note that
if you do not want to seem completely boorish, you need to
make that tongue a little more apparent in your cheek. If you
think this is funny, it isn't. If you are serious, you should
blush.
You and I agree on many subjects and I've purchased and
enjoyed your books but, my goodness, enough is enough.
