While looking up something about the DVD of the US series,
The Wire, I chanced upon a UK series, Wire in the Blood. It
stars Robson Green, whom I liked so much in Touching Evil (so
much better than its US remake, just like Cracker -- why does
US TV smooth out these fascinatingly flawed characters?). I
also noticed Val McDermid wrote it. So, has anyone seen it?
Is it any good? Did McDermid just do the story, or also the
teleplays?
