RARA-AVIS: Domenic Stansberry

From: Bludis Jack ( buildsnburns@yahoo.com)
Date: 23 May 2005

I know that we have not done a Domenic Stansberry month, but Mr. Stansberry seems to espouse so much of what we discuss here.

In fact, he is a bit more radical than some of us about the genres that we discuss on rara-avis. If you didn't catch this when someone else said it, you might want to take a look at Stansberry's
"Manifesto" on his website at:

http://www.domenicstansberry.com/newsletter.htm

In a few hundred words, he traces the mystery genre from Poe, through A.C. Doyle, Hammett, Chanlder and noir and proposses that we still have far to go.
