No, I love Chandler and Hammett --for different reasons. Last
night I read Chandler's great novelette Spanish Blood. Pulp
stories don't get much better than that. Next in line is his
Bay City Blues, another great novelette from Dime Detective
(great in my memory, we'll see how it holds up...).
