You bought the first Travis McGee paperback original when it came out? That must have been a good day. What were your impressions? That was back in April 1964, and NIGHTMARE IN PINK came out that same month, and then A PURPLE PLACE FOR DYING in May. Did you get them all? I see THE QUICK RED FOX came out in September, so JDM fans certainly got their fill that year.
