In the meantime, THE COLORADO KID is an interesting case:
It's definitely a mystery, but I wouldn't call it hardboiled,
exactly, and it's not even 100% clear that it's a crime
story, though it contains dead bodies, cops, clues,
forensics, and some very disturbing developments...
