I did a little research a few weeks ago and came up with this
site, which seemed to be the most credible and complete. It's
very long--better not read it at work. There's a long essay
by Trevanian himself and some tidbits by other people about
him. Real name: Rodney Whitaker. Apparently while he was busy
keeping his identity secret, someone else tried to take
credit for his work.
