Just finished this one. Discontinuous in places, but a fine
nod to the noir genre. Occasionally inspired. Only the second
hardboiled/noir verse book I've read. First was Porter's THE
MONKEY'S MASK. It's about a gumshoe and his on-and-off
relationship with a woman. I recommend reading it, but not
paying for it. I read it at the bookstore.
