That's really unfortunate; I loved that series. While it was an author-admitted homage to Stark's Parker, I think at times Simmons managed to eclipse his inspiration with an intensity and narrative drive that was absolutely enthralling. I was hoping this would be a series that would continue for some time.

But only three...that's really, really too bad.
