Hello all,
Although I haven't read Black Money, I did recently finish
reading The Goodbye Look, and it too took a while to capture
my imagination. Perhaps Archer's very pragmatic view of the
world manifests itself in fairly straightforward dialogue
that only gradually involves the reader in his world. Once
the reader is involved, however, an appreciation of his
worldview begins to develop. At least it did for me.
Cheers, Harry
