As I recall from a biblio-bio of JDM, the first three
or four McGees were published in an order different from that
JDM wrote 'em in. As I wobbily recall, PINK was the first he
wrote. I'm not sure about the others.
But that may explain some of the seeming
irregularities in the first batch.
