Sincere apologies if my post mentioning this has turned up,
but I had trouble with my email last week and think my
comments on Larry Brown got lost in the process.
Anything I could have added has been said by now, save that I
first discovered Larry Brown when Fay was reviewed positively
in the Wash Post by George Pelecanos. At a Pelecanos reading
in DC a year or so later, he mentioned Brown again (along w/
Chris Offutt) as a writer he particularly enjoyed.
