RARA-AVIS: February is Ken Bruen month!

You asked for it and you got it! In February (when we'll have just started the ninth year of the RARA-AVIS) Ken Bruen will be the guest of honour. I'm sure it'll be a great time.

If you want to do a little preparation, Mr. Swierczynski did an interview with him recently:

There's a shorter one here that has a bibliography:

Searching the web on his name will turn up lots of stuff. Chime in with any recommendations.

The Brant and Jack Taylor novels are the ones we've most often talked about on the list. I've only read BLITZ (the only one that ever seems to show up in bookstores around here) but I'll be ordering in more. I loved BLITZ and look forward to the others, and to February. I met Ken Bruen at Bouchercon last month and saw him on a panel, and he was very friendly and funny and a great storyteller. Thanks to Jason Starr for making the arrangements.

Bill
