Just like Bill Crider, I don't read too many new books, but I'd like to nominate Woodrell's THE DEATH OF SWEET MISTER and anything by Richard Stark. Clark Howard's short story collections CROWDED LIVES and CHALLENGE THE WIDOW-MAKER are both full of great noir tales.
