FAST ONE is a tough read. You're better off trying Cain's
other book, SEVEN SLAYERS, which, since it's a set of short
stories, is easier to digest. I've read Fast One three times
- the first time, I could barely figure out what was going on
or follow the writing because it's so choppy. But now it's
one of my favorites and I'm a huge Cain fan.
No need to spend big bucks to get a copy.... blackmask.com
has electronic or print-on-demand copies available for about
$.99 and $10, respectively. Typos galore, however, so they
are tough to read (that's how I found GREEN ICE) but the way.
