I confirmed today that the space is set aside for us. Looks
like about 20 people will be there, and others are welcome if
they find themselves available. We're people who like talking
to people who like to talk about the tough stuff.
The information:
I've reserved some space at the Duke of Argyle, a decent fake
British pub that's about a five-minute walk from the
convention centre where the Hogtown Bouchercon is happening.
We can convene from 5 to 7 pm on opening night, 7 October
2004, for dinner and/or drinks, then head over for the
opening ceremonies. There'll be a sign or stack of fedoras or
something to identify us, but ask when you come in and you'll
be directed towards the back where we are. It'll be a nice
way to start things off!
There's a little map here:

Like all of indoor Toronto, it's non-smoking. It has a nice
selection of local and imported beer, the menu's decent, and
the food is fairly tasty. Everyone should be able to find
something to their taste.
