Just finished this one. Superbly dark and twisted plot
interlaced with the exhilaration of surfing ecstasy. I've had
problems empathizing with several of the loser protagonists
in the noir I've read recently, but Nunn reeled me right into
Ike's disturbing world. Well-written, tragic, and
moving.
