RARA-AVIS: Whit Masterson's The Great Train Hijack

I finished reading Whit Masterson's THE GREAT TRAIN HIJACK. If you're a big train fan like me, this is book uses a lot of greats descriptions and colorful lingo. Nice pacing and as with all of the WM solo projects, there are a few original twists. A group of Nam vets plan to rip off a train like desperados did in the previous century. Written in the 1970s, the book is less hardboiled than the Wade Miller projects coming out in the 1950s but nevertheless a satisfying read.
