crimeflix noted some favorite noirs:

Squeeze Play, by McKimmey Everybody Smokes in Hell, by Ridley To Find a Killer, by White

*************** I've read a couple by James McKimmey and enjoyed them.
I ordered the Ridley title. Haha! Love the title. I'm not familiar with Ridley. Drew a blank on White's novel at Amazon.

When I ordered the Ridley title, I got a recommendation for a novel called THE LIGHT AGES by Ian MacLeod. Reviews made it sound similar to Mieville's PERDIDO STREET STATION. Anybody read MacLeod? Any comments?
