162 people are on the list now, which is half the former
number. Not bad for three days, I think, especially in August
when many people are away or rarely checking e-mail. A couple
of people felt so strongly they didn't want to join a group
at Yahoo, but at least they can follow it through the
archives if they wish. I'll put up instructions on how to
join without setting up an account with Yahoo or doing
anything special.
You'll notice many familiar names posting, and I see many
regulars in the subscriber list. Thanks for bearing with me.
It may not be the best home, but I think it'll be better than
where we were. Next week I'll send a short reminder to
everyone who hasn't rejoined in the hopes they'll come
along.
I look forward to THE MALTESE FALCON theme next month and
then to meeting any of you who come to Toronto for
Bouchercon. I'll send out a note soon about a party for us
all.
